“Dancing With The Stars” announced their cast last night. Some of the rumors turned out to be true, some didn’t (Snooki, Queen Latifah). Here are photos of each of the “Stars”:
Chaz Bono, Cher and Sonny Bono’s son, will be the Dancing with the Star‘s first transgender contestant. He says, “Doing this show is an opportunity for me to reach a larger, more mainstream audience with just a simple message of being transgender is okay and not something to be scared of.” (You can see photos of Chaz over the years here).
Former talk show host (and Hairspray star) Ricki Lake
L.A. Laker Ron Artest (By the way, Ron has to wait to officially change his name to Metta World Peace because of outstanding parking warrants. )
Former “Hills” star Kristin Cavallari (She was just recently engaged to Jay Cutler of the Chicago Bears, but he got cold feet and called it off last month)
Wilson Phillips singer Chynna Phillips. She’s married to Billy Baldwin.
The former Mr. Courtney Cox: David Arquette
Former “Queer Eye for the Straight Guy” star Carson Kressley
Nancy Grace. She’s the legal analyst and HLN host that your grandmother watches. She hates Casey Anthony more than the rest of us.
J.R. Martinez. He’s an Iraq War vet who suffered severe burns in the line of duty, and now appears on “All My Children”.
U.S. women’s soccer goalie Hope Solo
Yet another Kardashian: Rob Kardashian
George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis
So…that’s it. We’ll see how they do. The new season of “Dancing With the Stars” debuts on September 19th.
