Rihanna has been out and about in New York City this week — perhaps more out than she meant to go. Yesterday photos were widely circulated of Rihanna in a see-through mesh top during a night out on the town with friends. The singer was madly Tweeting her big night out into the wee hours of the morning.

Was Rihanna dressing provocatively, breasts exposed, on purpose or was this a simple wardrobe malfunction? Camera flashes and certain lighting can expose clothing that would otherwise look perfectly normal. When pressed by TMZ she she responded to the question of if she saw the photos of herself in the top by saying, “Do you mean my t******?” F****** pervs, you come up with the flash man. Putting me on blast.”

During the exchange Rihanna was politely taking photos with a rotating cast of fans from inside a black SUV. She offered the paparazzi on hand a tip, saying, “And for future reference, y’all could probably get a better shot from a distance.”
