From runner-up Jessica Sanchez’s take on the Whitney Houston classic, “I Will Always Love You” to Joshua Ledet’s show stopping performance of “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World,” it’s obvious season 11 of Idol had some major talent.  To celebrate this fact, the show is releasing the best covers from the top 10 finalists, along with a few more recordings from your favorites among the top 5.

Due July 3, The American Idol Season 11 Top 10 Highlights CD will also include Hollie Cavanaugh’s version of the Celine Dion ballad “Power of Love” and Lifehouse’s “Everything” performed by Colton Dixon.

In addition, fans can choose separate compilations that focus on their favorite top-five finalists – winner Phillip Phillips, Sanchez, Ledet, Cavanagh and Skylar Laine.  Available exclusively at Wal-Mart, the samplers will feature five of each contestant’s standout songs.

And if that’s not enough, there will also be a separate CD that highlights the five best duets and trios like the Phillip Phillips and Joshua Ledet duet of Maroon 5’s “This Love.”

All this will get fans prepared for the upcoming American Idol tour, which kicks off July 6 in Detroit, Michigan. Go here for a full list of tourdates.
