A virus that changes your DNS may knock your computer off the internet Monday. I won’t go into the details as to why, but I will offer a link that can help you figure it out.
I don’t know any more about computers then clicking my mouse and hoping it goes where I want it to. Basically, the FBI uncovered a virus that was activated when you visited fake ad sites, and it messed with your DNS (whatever that is). The FBI say that 64,000 computers are still on the safety servers they set up to thwart the attack, and those go off line Monday. Is your computer safe?
You can go to this site to test and find out. Scroll down to the bottom of your page to find sites set up by your provider (Verizon or Comcast) specifically set up to deal with the issue.
