We’ve looked at unique and new songs that could be used as a “first dance” song at weddings, but today we look at the twenty most requested songs at weddings over the last year. This is according to a nationwide survey of wedding disc jockeys. These aren’t necessarily romantic songs, just fun party songs that are requested to be played during the reception, either by the bride and groom or by the guests.

Some interesting notes about the list: LMFAO’s “Sexy And I Know It”, Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera’s “Moves Like Jagger” and Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” are now on the list (they weren’t in 2012). “The Cupid Shuffle” has faded a bit, dropping from #3 to #5, while “The Cha Cha Slide” moves up two spots. Lady Gaga dropped the most: “Just Dance” was at #7, now it’s at #20. Outkast’s “Hey Ya”, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Sweet Home Alabama”, Usher’s “O.M.G.” and Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite” all fell out of the Top 20.
