Walk The Moon’s Two-Night Stand At 9:30 Club

What can I say that I haven’t already said? I’m so very proud of these guys!  Walk The Moon played back-to-back sold-out shows at the 9:30 Club in D.C. and I had the pleasure of going to the Friday night show to see my cousin Sean and his band mates throw a fantastic party.

The Australian band The Griswolds opened for them, and aside from being talented musicians, I could listen to the lead singer talk all night! It’s all about the accents man.

Anyway, WTM played and the entire crowd danced the night way, from Tightrope to Anna Sun, we all Shut Up and Danced…except for when we were singing along of course…

Here’s their setlist:

They opened with an intro of “Circle of Life” from the Lion King which was epic!
Different Colors
Tightrope
Down in the Dumps
Spend Your $$$
Shiver Shiver

Avalanche
Up 2 U
Work This Body
Portugal
Aquaman
Lisa Baby
Jenny
I Can Lift a Car
Shut Up and Dance
Encore:
All These Things That I’ve Done (Killers Cover)
Anna Sun

The boys returned to Cincinnati for a weekend off (and a top-secret mission, more on that later) and are now back on the Talking is Hard tour.  After a few more stops stateside, it’s over to Europe, and then back in time for the Firefly Music Festival...which is pretty much the next chance you can check them out close by!
