Along with Rihanna, Kendrick Lamar and Major Lazer, Lovato will headline the festival on September 24th. “The Global Citizen Festival combines music and activism in a way that inspires and affects millions around the world, “Lovato said. “I am proud to support this amazing organization’s ongoing efforts to improve global healthcare and to end extreme poverty.”

This year’s event will also feature Usher, Ellie Goulding and Chris Martin. Neil Patrick Harris and Priyanka Chopra will host. The festival is meant to spotlight areas where citizens can take action against some of the world’s biggest issues. Chris Martin of Coldplay has served as its Creative Director since it first began in 2012.

Those interested in watching can find the festival airing on MSNBC or streaming on YouTube of the Global Citizen Festival app beginning at 3 pm EST.
