The eliminated Dancing With The Stars professional, Maskim Chmerkovskiy and fiance, Peta Murgatroyd were woken up on Monday morning after an intruder tried to enter their home.
Chmerkovskiy revealed in a radio interview, just hours after the incident, that the police were at his door early Tuesday morning with the potential intruder. The local law enforcement knocked on their door at 2:20 am with a man Maksim claims was’ visibly intoxicated and claiming to be the owner of their rented LA home.’
Chmerkovskiy, 37, and Murgatroyd, 30, were a bit shaken up, but the entire family is doing well. The Dancing With The Stars couple welcomed their first son, Shai, this past Jan.
Dancing With The Stars contestants are usually slatted to appear on Good Morning America the morning following their departure. However, Chmerkovskiy’s partner, Glee star Heather Morris, appeared alone yesterday, explaining that her partner had a family emergency.
