Losing weight might be as easy as turning off the TV.
You don’t even have to give up your favorite foods! It’s all about mindful eating.
Knowing the calorie count and stopping short of overindulging, and enjoying your food away from distractions like TV, and computers.
That’s according to a new study from North Carolina State University researchers. Researchers say the gist of the program is you should think about nothing other than how much you’re enjoying what you’re eating. So eating more will only give you more calories, not more enjoyment. So, what about wasting food?
Researchers tell people on the commercial program Eat Smart, Move More, Weigh Less to finish the rest the next day or to buy smaller portions. It lasts for 15 weeks. 80 people lost an average of 4 pounds, and six months later 75% didn’t gain back weight.
Long story short, eat what you love.
