Report: Beyonce And Jay-Z Expecting Second Child

Beyonce and Jay-Z are expecting their second child, according to an E! Online report. The entertainment network claims that “multiple sources exclusively confirm[ed]” the story earlier. All sources in the story are unnamed.

A pregnancy might explain the singer’s recent cancellation of a show in Antwerp, Belgium on Tuesday due to “dehydration and exhaustion.” This came after fans and pundits spotted what they believed was a baby bump in photos of her appearance earlier this month at the Met Gala.

If this news proves to be true, the future of Beyonce’s North American leg of her current Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, which comes stateside on June 28 in Los Angeles and wraps August 5 in Brooklyn, might be in question.

Candice Glover Crowned New ‘American Idol’ As Finale Ratings Hit All-Time Low

Last night’s two-hour American Idol finale brought out the star power, but in the end it was Candice Glover’s night. The first all-female AI finale in nine years and first female winner in six years, Candice Glover (as well as her competitor Kree Harrison) alternated performances with some of the biggest stars in music before Glover closed the show with her powerful vocals as she held back tears to sing her new single “I Am Beautiful.”

“Persistence, determination and a lot of talent. You deserve it,” Ryan Seacrest told Glover, who auditioned for AI twice before her win this season.

Meanwhile, the judges showed off their powerhouse singing with former contestants. Keith Urban‘s new single “Little Bit of Everything” made its television premiere, while Mariah Carey brought us back to the ’90s with a montage of her hits, complete with a wind-blown look. Even former AI judge Jennifer Lopez took the stage with Pitbull for their clubtastic summer jam “Live It Up.” Adam Lambert, Jennifer Hudson, PSY, Jessie J, Travis Barker, The Band Perry, Aretha Franklin, and Frankie Valli also took the Idol stage.

Despite the A-list performers, the Season 12 finale didn’t rack up the numbers. According to Deadline, the two-hour finale last night was down 47 percent from last season’s finale. Idol pulled in 13.61 million viewers last night — 8 million less than the 21.5 million who watched last season’s finale. Season 12 is the first Idol finale to have less than 20 million viewers.

Additionally, the New York Daily News reports that Idol season 12 ratings suffered a 20 percent drop overall compared to season 11 ratings. “While Idol drew a staggering 30 million viewers during its peak in 2006 and ’07, that number withered this year to roughly 12 million,” the paper notes.

With Randy Jackson jumping ship after 12 seasons and the continuous judge changes, nothing seems to be able to revive the ratings.

Justin Bieber Owes Germany Thousands For Monkey Day Care

Day care don’t come cheap for Justin Bieber, who reportedly owes a German animal shelter thousands for watching his monkey, OG Mally.

Last month, Bieber was forced to leave his pet capuchin monkey, OG Mally, at the Munich airport because he didn’t have the correct documentation to allow the pet in the country. Bieber was given 30 days to come up with the papers, and he ultimately decided to give up the monkey.

However, it seems he didn’t tell that to the Munich animal shelter where Mally has been held since being taken away from Bieber. The shelter is now billing Bieber for the cost of care for his monkey. Between general care, food and vet visits for OG Mally, Bieber’s bill is several thousand dollars, according to the Munich customs office.

Furthermore, the shelter is still waiting for a response regarding next actions for Mally. He has a deadline of today to come up with papers with legally reclaim OG Mally, otherwise the monkey will be moved permanently to a German zoo or animal park.

Did you hear about this guy in Chicago who won $4.85 MILLION, and had no clue!!!!!!!’

So this man in Chicago played the lotto often…often enough to have a pile of old tix lying around his wife was threatening to throw out. Spring cleaning, clutter, I get it…but Ricardo wasn’t stupid! He takes the stack to his local convenience store, starts scanning them…wins a $3 ticket…scans a few more to get this message, “file a claim”.

Fast forward that claim brought in 4.85 MILLION DOLLARS!!!!! Now get this…his home and family were on the verge of eviction due to foreclosure!!!!

I think it’s safe to say…problems solved!!!

Carrie Underwood On Motherhood, Panic Attacks, And Being Awkward

Carrie Underwood says she’s just not ready to be a mother yet. In a recent interview that will be published in the June issue of Marie Claire, the the 30-year-old country star opened up about her life, career, and plans for the future. Which, for the time being at least, don’t include motherhood.

“I don’t feel old enough to have kids,” she explains. “I know I am mature. But being responsible for another human?”

And who can blame her. The Oklahoma native’s rise to stardom began in 2005, after winning the fourth season of American Idol, and she’s been busy recording and touring ever since. She’s released four albums, had 16 Number One singles, five GRAMMYs, and a dizzying number of other awards from the Academy of Country Music and other organizations. Her latest album Blown Away is considered her most ambitious project yet.

Fellow country star Brad Paisley sums up her talent pretty simply in the magazine profile. “She’s the best female singer we’ve had in our format maybe ever.”

But the beginnings of fame weren’t easy for Carrie. She goes on to say that she used to have panic attacks, and that all the attention was hard to process. “People were touching me, screaming – it made me really nervous.”

People who know her say Carrie has never been very outgoing. Even her own mother agrees. “She was never really a people person. She liked being outside with animals.”

Carrie admits that opening up to others isn’t her strong suit. “I’m probably not great at talking or understanding emotional things. I’ll totally listen. But I won’t have a lot of advice to give. I’m bad at calling to check in, the long conversation. But in the ways that really matter, I’m there. I would donate a kidney.”

Her husband Mike Fisher, a center for the Nashville Predators hockey team, whom she married in 2010, calls her ” the queen of awkward moments.” But he also admires her honesty, “she doesn’t know how to hide her feelings.” And Carrie describes her hubby as “Mr. Nicest Guy on the Planet.”

Nicki Minaj, Shakira Latest In Singing Competition Judge Shakeups

Remember when singing competitions kept their judges a little longer than one or two-year stints? Perhaps American Idol set an unattainable precedent during its first seven years on the air, with zero changes to the judging panel during that time until Kara DioGuardi joined the group during season eight. Maybe the mass of new competitions with relevant, still-in-the-biz judges made each panel more malleable by necessity. Whatever the reason, judging panels on Idol, The Voice and The X-Factor have been marked in recent years by ever-changing bodies in the judges’ seats.

In the latest installment of the case of the rotating judge lineup, Nicki Minaj announced Wednesday she would be leaving American Idol after just one season as part of its lineup. Minaj follows longtime judge Randy Jackson, who will be leaving the show after being with it since its inception in 2002.

According to Us Weekly, the plan was always for Minaj to last just one season. An insider tells the publication that the rapper/singer will return to her musical career, including recording a new album to follow up Pink Friday: Roman Holiday.

But Idol isn’t the only show seeing a change in staff next year. Us Weekly also reports that Shakira will be stepping down as judge on The Voice, to be replaced by a familiar face — former Voice judge Christina Aguilera.

A new study has ranked 10 bedroom paint colors by how they affect your sleep and your mood.

The study found people with blue walls average the most sleep, seven hours and 52 minutes per night. Blue isn’t just calming, the color blue triggers special receptors in our eyes that aid our body’s natural sleep rhythms.

Purple walls are the worst for sleep, at five hours and 56 minutes. Purple is a stimulating color that makes it tougher for your brain to shut down.

Brown came in second-to-last, at six hours and five minutes of sleep, but that might be because people in brown bedrooms have the most sex. People in red bedrooms have the least, even though red is supposed to be sexy.

What Companies Respond to the Most Questions on Twitter?

According to a new study, if you tweet a company, you’re almost twice as likely to get a response from them compared to last year. Here are the four companies that respond to the most questions on Twitter:

1. Nike: The Twitter account for Nike support answered 4,000 questions in three months, or about 80% of the questions they received. And they get back to you in an average of two hours and 20 minutes.

2. JetBlue Airlines: They answered 1,400 questions. They respond to 79% of questions, and take only 13 minutes to get back to you.

3. Chase Bank: Their support account answered 600 questions, or 67%.

4. Nokia: Their U.S. support account responded to 86% of questions, but that was only 500 questions.
